General Hospital Tuesday, Recap: Drew’s Million-Dollar Revenge Plot

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, May 6, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) worked on a million-dollar revenge plot while Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) faced Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) arrest threat.

At GH, Gio tried to explain his side of the story, but Dante felt Gio should’ve been the adult in the situation and called for some real help.

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) tried to defend Gio before Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) doctor gave Dante and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) details on his condition.

Rocco was going to be fine, but things could’ve turned out differently since he had a life-threatening blood alcohol level before his stomach was pumped.

Rocco was apologetic when he woke up, but he got some loving reassurance from Dante and Lulu.

Even so, Rocco sensed that Dante was mad, so Lulu suggested fear often comes out as anger when you’re a concerned parent.

Back with Gio, he gave Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) news about Rocco over the phone.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) overheard and asked to speak with Danny herself, so she got confirmation that he was at the boathouse and headed over there.

Danny felt guilty and admitted he talked Rocco into going to the party before leaving him to go play volleyball.

Carly dished out some tough love over the close call and made sure Danny understood how serious this was.

Danny vowed to apologize to Lulu and Dante as well as tell Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) everything that happened.

Back at the hospital, Dante spoke with Gio and Lois in private. That brought another tirade from Dante since he felt Gio’s actions could’ve cost Rocco his life.

When Dante said he could have Gio arrested for giving alcohol to a minor, Gio insisted he didn’t give Rocco booze or even see him drink a sip.

Dante wondered how he could be sure of that, but Lois once again played protector for Gio.

As Dante continued his rant, Lois pushed him to stop and blurted out that he didn’t know who Gio really was. Dante had a confused look on his face – and so did Lulu as she watched the situation play out nearby.

In Rocco’s room again, he thanked Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) for saving him and got a pep talk since Dante also made a lot of mistakes when he was growing up.

Next, Drew offered $500,000 for the intel Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) had about who was behind his drugging setup.

Brad spilled that it was Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) before explaining that she’d had him look into Drew’s medical records and steal ketamine for her.

Although Brad was eager to see Portia’s downfall, Drew offered to double the offer and make it $1 million if Brad would do one more thing for him.

Following Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) surgery, he woke up and assured Trina Robinson (Tabayna Ali) that the hard part was over.

Kai would move his toes, so he assured Trina that the worst-case paralysis scenario was off the table.

Later, Kai took a small step out in the hallway, so Trina was pleased to see him standing up and moving.

Although Trina smiled and made a prediction about Kai being able to do anything, he looked uneasy as they hugged.

In the car outside the hospital, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) told Ava Jerome (Maura West) about the shell corporation he’d set up for their payments from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Meanwhile, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) gave Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) updates on Alexis trying to have her committed and explained about the papers.

Lucky knew Alexis was coming from a place of concern and that she wasn’t entirely wrong about Kristina needing help.

Kristina assured Lucky that she was in therapy, but she felt that Alexis had almost gone too far.

However, Lucky pointed out that Kristina wanted to learn from her recent mistakes, so he gave her some advice about not letting this rip her family apart again.

At Alexis’ house, she had the dagger in her hand when she opened the door to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

Diane said she came in peace before Alexis spilled about Kristina and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) finding out about the papers to have Kristina committed.

Although Diane took the blame and offered to make things right, Alexis felt she should be the one to fix this. That said, Alexis worried forgiveness might not happen this time.

Alexis admitted Kristina wasn’t aware she knew about Krissy’s role in the crash, so she understood why her daughter felt blindsided.

Once Diane was gone, Ric and Ava showed up to make more demands.

After offering info on the shell corporation, Ric made it clear that Alexis would be making separate payments to him in addition to the ones made to Ava.

That meant double the money, so Alexis warned she could get caught stealing that much from the Cassadine estate.

If Alexis went down for this, she intended to take Ava and Ric down with her.

Ric pointed out that if that happened, then they’d make sure Alexis’ “beloved lunatic daughter” went down as well.

“But you’ll never let that happen. Will you, Alexis?” Rick asked just before Kristina arrived and wondered what was going on.

General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will find herself in another tight spot, so stick with the ABC soap.
