It’s been suggested that even after all the trouble that Lois has gone through to keep Gio close by and with the family, he might not even be a part of the family to begin with.
That’s because there’s a chance that he might have been switched at birth and is not even Brook Lynn’s baby. Talk about a plot twist!
The internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some fans even commented with, “If Chase’s sterility is because of an illness or something, I would love for this kid to be his. it’s the only switched adoption situation that would make me glad to have another switched situation.”
“The PC folks get so angry when someone doesn’t tell you their family tree- Marco/Natalia- what are they going to do to Lois???”
Another fan wrote, “The twist would be that Brook Lynn has been lying all this time on who the father is. That she had sex with a random guy at camp maybe to make Dante jealous and ended up pregnant. Goes home and lies about who the father is.”
