General Hospital Spoilers: “You’ll Never Guess What Kin Shriner’s Up to Now—Hint: It’s Hilarious
In a fun, meta video, Kin Shriner plays Hollywood Ed, a host who shares details about Shriner’s home and wonders where the actor went off to.
Even though Scotty hasn’t been on General Hospital for quite some time, his portrayer, Kin Shriner, hasn’t gone anywhere. He’s been all over social media, often sharing tidbits, pics, and video clips from classic Hollywood. Shriner has also participated in many humorous videos with alum Marcus Coloma, and recently released one with just him as a new character.
Hollywood Ed Makes His Debut
Shriner wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “Was a Hollywood tour guide in 5th grade, back at it!!! @GeneralHospital!!” Along with that, a video was attached in which he’s sitting in his convertible outside a house and starts to get very meta.
Shriner begins, “Hello, this is Hollywood Ed on my movie star tour. This is the former home of a soap opera actor, Kin Shriner. He played Scotty Baldwin on General Hospital.”

The beloved actor continued by addressing Scotty’s noticeable absence from the show, “I think the character’s out getting donuts.” He continued, explaining, “Anyway, he built this as a…bachelor pad in the ’90s with the help of his mother on the show, and I think he’s got some Soap Opera Digest awards buried in the yard over here.” Totally selling the fact that he’s playing a character, he motioned to the back of the house.
He’s at Large
“The actor that built this house, Kin Shriner…his whereabouts are kind of unknown. I’m not sure where he is. Nobody seems to know where he is. He’s at large somewhere,” he explained. “But this house will stay standing for many years to come in Hollywood.” He then signed off by stating, “Hollywood Ed here, goodbye!”
One fan took a screenshot and drew an arrow that pointed at Shriner’s crazy hair, writing, “Kin. The hair. 👀🤦♀️😂,” to which the GH star replied, “I know, ridiculous!” Another fan enjoyed his post and wrote, “That was a fun fact to learn about your former home, Kin. ❤️.” His followers all loved his car, his hair, and his home, and clamored for his return to GH.
