General Hospital, like all soaps, is known for secrets and lies. There are so many secrets in Port Charles right now that it’s hard to keep track of who knows what.
Who’s Your Daddy? And Mommy?
It was long-suspected that Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) bio parents are Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
It was finally confirmed when Lois (Rena Sofer) said it aloud to Martin (Michael E Knight). Lois’ mom, Gloria (Ellen Travolta), is the only other person who knows the whole truth.
BLQ revealed her pregnancy secret and the father’s identity to her husband, Chase (Josh Swickard).
Nosy Lulu (Alexa Havins) stumbled on the information and shared it with Carly (Laura Wright), but she has bigger fish to fry at the moment. Cody (Josh Swickard) has known the truth from the start.
Unfortunately, there are important players still completely in the dark, including Gio himself, Dante, and his parents, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Sonny (Maurice Benard), as well as Tracy (Jane Elliott) and Ned (Wally Kurth). There will be plenty of drama when this secret is revealed.
Accidents Happen (Or Do They?)
Ric (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) car accident was no accident. Kristina (Kate Mansi) cut the brakes on Ric’s car, believing it was Ava’s (Maura West).
She thought murdering Ava was a good idea. This is a secret that probably won’t stay secret for too long.
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) knows the truth but has decided not to turn Kristina in. This may cause problems between him and Liz.
Ava caught the whole thing on video and shared the information with Ric, but felt the best course of action was to blackmail Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) instead of going to the police.
Kristina’s mom now knows what she did and told Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), but under attorney-client privilege. Alexis decided to give in to blackmail against Diane’s advice to have her daughter committed. That decision will come back to haunt her.
Switcheroo
It’s common to switch blood test results at GH, and Brad (Perry Shen) is the master. But Brad did not tamper with Heather’s (Alley Mills) results; Portia (Brook Kerr) did. He was the blackmailer this time.
All was going well for him until his Aunt Selina (Lydia Look) needed a payment, and he gave her the information on the Chief of Staff instead. She then gave it to Drew (Cameron Mathison), the most hated man in Port Charles, and now he is blackmailing Portia.
Curtis knows about the blood test switch but not the blackmail. Ava knows everything.
Then there is Sonny’s heart condition, which was top secret, but more people are finding out by the minute.
