General Hospital’s Kelly Thiebaud Reflects On a ‘Very Painful and Challenging Year’
Over the weekend, Kelly Thiebaud took to Instagram in a reflective mood. “A year ago, we said goodbye to our wonderful area in North London, Primrose Hill,” she began, sharing a photo of her dog. “Whiskey injured his leg, and we were awaiting surgery.
“We took one last stroll to the park we loved so much and said goodbye,” she continued. “I didn’t know at that moment that two months later we’d be on a plane back to America.”
It was, suffice it to say, a big move. “I put all my belongings in storage, which is still there, and headed back to the States with nothing.
It’s been a very painful and challenging year,” admitted the actress, beloved to General Hospital fans for her turn as ill-fated Britt. “I have to completely rebuild myself and my life from nothing.
“But,” she added, “I have Whiskey, wonderful friends and family and the insane determination to keep moving forward.”
That she will, we have no doubt. Perhaps we’ll even be lucky enough to see the Emmy winner on another soap.
Though Britt is pushing up daisies — as if that means anything on The Walking Dead General Hospital — Thiebaud would make a great Felicia for The Bold and the Beautiful.
Or perhaps the Newman ranch hand who makes The Young and the Restless’ Adam think twice about his reunion with Chelsea.
