Angry and frustrated, the ABC actress seems to be suffering from some sort of political depression since Donald Trump won the election. This weekend, she had some choice words to vent her feelings.
Nancy Lee Grahn Took A Hiatus In the Past
In 2022, the actress with about 49 years of daytime drama shows under her belt took a hiatus from General Hospital.
You might recall that the politically active TV star had her role of Alexis temporarily replaced by Stephanie Erb. But it takes a lot to keep the Emmy Award-winning ABC star off the GH show, and she soon returned.
By August, Nancy Lee Grahn was back and excited to share about her awesome vacation. Apart from relaxing in Wisconsin, she hinted that she was well into writing the rumored book that she started.
Always full of energy and ready to take on a role as an actress, a writer, and a reproductive rights and political activist, she seems to be totally in control of her life. That is, until now. Fast forward 27 months, and she seems to struggle for control.
GH Star Seems Demotivated And Struggles
On Saturday, the daytime drama star went onto Instagram and posted a text meme about where she is at the moment with politics. The GH star seemed down and expressed her feelings by saying:
Hi, my name is Nancy and I’m an Activist. I’m now 24 days from watching any news, or entertaining any notion of fighting for democracy. God grant me the courage to know that I cannot control the clueless imbeciles who voted for an evidenced vulgar adjudicated rapist, coup inciting, 34 count indicted sociopath, or the brain dead morons who didn’t vote. I can only control the amount of gin I drink.
