BIG CHANGE: General Hospital Reveals Its Master Plan for Sasha, Cody, Lulu and More

Oooh. Now we get it. General Hospital did Cody and Sasha wrong — so very wrong — in order to upend half of the couples on the canvas. Here’s how.

A Chance Encounter

It can’t have been a coincidence that Lulu hitched a ride from Cody in the November 25 episode. The show obviously has him in mind as a new love interest for Sleeping Beauty.

And to make him available, his relationship with Sasha had to be torpedoed — despite the fact that, erm, we pretty much all liked it, didn’t we? (Cue the naysayers in three, two… )

Lasting Consequences

In the very same episode, Sasha discovered that her one-night stand with ex-lover Michael had left her pregnant — one more reason for his marriage to Willow to come to an end.

But since Chad Duell is exiting in the new year, the old flames can’t be reheated and served up like Thanksgiving leftovers. So who does the soap have in mind for Sasha?

At Loose Ends

As it happens, in the wake of Kelly Monaco’s departure as Sam, Dante is once again free.

We all assumed that he and Lulu would pick up where they’d left off — on the verge of reuniting before she slipped into that coma.

But it ain’t necessarily so. A Dante/Sasha pairing would be fresh and different and… surprising.

Odd Woman Out

We can all agree that Willow and Drew’s fling will not have legs. So where will she be left once Michael is off the canvas? Swinging single, that’s where.

And General Hospital could test to see if she clicks with Lucky or Isaiah. (Then again, the doc clicks with everybody!)
