Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, July 31, reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will face an elevator disaster while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) tackles a challenge. Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will also face some skeptics, so there’ll be plenty of Salem excitement.
For starters, Xander will bring Victoria Kiriakis (Amelia and Kennedy Hileman) to the hospital, so this may involve a handoff now that he’s agreed to a joint custody agreement with Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).
Sarah also convinced Xander to start anger management counseling, so she may offer a reminder about that on Thursday’s DOOL episode.
Days fans will see Xander tackle a challenge as he struggles to rein in his attitude and keep his end of the bargain.
As for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), he’ll worry about the investigation he’s working on now that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) has sought help scoring Xander and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) dirt.
Days spoilers say this could affect Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) too, which means it could also affect Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).
Steve will open up to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) about his investigation news and concerns, so she’ll pass along some guidance.
Over with Stephanie, she’ll show off some nervousness and leave Alex working to comfort her.
Since Stephanie will seem rather panicked, there’s a chance her book will move into the next publishing phase without the edit she requested.
Then again, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) might let it slip to Alex that Philip recognized some of the content in Stephanie’s story and figured out she’s behind One Stormy Night.
That could leave Stephanie worried about other former flames figuring out the same thing – like Jeremy Horton (last played by Trevor Donovan) since it looks like Michael Roark may appear as a Jeremy recast on Days down the road.
In the meantime, Chad will join EJ at the DiMera mansion, where Susan just blurted out that she feels Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) presence so strongly.
Susan will play up her ability to speak to those who have passed on, but EJ and Chad will be skeptical.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefano could be alive in some form thanks to some big twists that’ll strike soon, so stick with us for updates on all the chaos.
Until then, Chad will join Cat in an elevator after her secret meeting with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so they’ll ultimately get stuck together and grow closer in the process.
