Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Rachel’s 5 Horrific Words Finally End ‘Who Shot EJ’ Story?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) five horrific words could finally end a major storyline and answer the question of who shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). DOOL may be on the verge of delivering a shocking courtroom climax, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Salem.
Since Rachel recalls seeing Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) holding EJ at gunpoint and arguing with him that night, she’s a crucial part of this case.
Although Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) would like to shield Rachel from the drama of this trial, that just won’t be possible.
Rachel is a key witness, so Days spoilers say she’ll indeed land on the stand and offer her testimony.
Of course, Rachel won’t like this any more than Brady and Kristen do!
We’ll see Rachel freak out over the idea of potentially being the one who sends Johnny to prison.
Rachel will be a nervous wreck, but a big twist could be brewing that’ll ultimately make her feel even worse.
Since we know Johnny is innocent, Days still has to reveal who actually pulled the trigger.
Did Rachel do it and block out the traumatic memory?
Based on Rachel’s flashbacks and what she’s muttered in her sleep, she clearly doesn’t recall firing at Uncle EJ – at least not yet.
However, some puzzle pieces could fall into place for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) soon and leave her in a tight spot.
Days released a preview video for summer and beyond not too long ago, which showed Belle Black (Martha Madison) pushing Marlena to admit she knew who shot EJ.
There aren’t a lot of people Marlena would cover for, especially since her grandson is on trial for attempted murder!
Marlena would want to clear Johnny’s name unless the real culprit was someone she wanted to protect even more.
Little Rachel would probably fall into that category, so maybe Marlena will realize her granddaughter has buried the memory of shooting EJ.
The memory could ultimately be unearthed and lead to a courtroom shocker.
That brings us to those five horrific words that Rachel may utter and finally end this storyline: “I remember! It was me!”
Rachel might experience total recall and blurt out her own guilt in court depending on how DOOL writers want to wrap things up.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say a few more twists and turns are coming up, so stick with us for updates on all the stunning news and wild courtroom moments.
