Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, May 22, prove that even a private eye and a cop can’t do everything on their own, and it’s time for reinforcements to step in.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) had a foolproof plan. Break into the lab, steal drugs, send drugs to Europe, cure Bo, no muss, no fuss. Except there was muss. And fuss.
By the time Steve and Shawn got there, Philip’s (Jean Paul Lavosier) flunky had already broken in and stolen the entire supply, not the single vial Steve and Shawn were after.
(Which made them the good thieves, not the bad ones.) Jeffrey (Michael Dietz) was furious, but Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) convinced him not to go public.
Instead, have Steve and Shawn investigate the theft they didn’t get to carry out. But they’re going to need some help with that.
It’s My Party
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) wanted to throw Ari (Marissa Reyes) a fun day in Chicago for her birthday, but the teen backed off, claiming she was tired. But there will still be festivities, especially if Marlena (Deidre Hall) has anything to say about it.
You know what’s one thing we bet Marlena — or anyone — will not say? That she is Ari’s great-grandmother. Yeah.
Ari’s dad is Will (Chandler Massey), Will’s mom and Ari’s grandmother is Sami (Alison Sweeney), and Sami’s mother is Marlena. Yup. Doc is a great-grandmother. Who looks great? But don’t spend too much time doing the math on that one.
Dig Doug
Doug (Peyton Meyer) made nice with Julie (Susan Seaforth).
Suddenly, the con artist and ex-con is so sweet and innocent that he can’t possibly do anything for himself. So Holly (Ashley Puzemis) steps up. Because that’s always worked out so well in the past.
