Days of Our Lives Preview: Susan Puts a Damper On Marlena’s Good News – She Burst Into Tears
In the latest Days of Our Lives promo, the sepsis drug is stolen, everyone begins to suspect Johnny shot EJ, and Marlena gets the news she’s been waiting for. But we all know things don’t have a happy ending this time.
Philip is the latest to have his eye on DiMera Pharmaceuticals and calls up what appears to be an old friend from his Salem High days for help, Kevin Lambert!
hilip’s idea? To steal the sepsis drug that could save Philip’s brother’s life. So far, half the town has had the idea to steal the drug to save Bo.
Though for Philip, this is about what it’s always about… money! When Steve and Shawn go to snag it, they find it’s already gone! The promo pans to Kevin holding several vials.
All eyes are on Johnny as the one who shot EJ. Before Chanel can welcome Johnny back home, she reminds him of his anger towards his father, wishing he were dead, and asks, “Did you shoot him?” Does Johnny even know if he was the one who did it?
Roman, meanwhile, tells Kate that on the night in question, when he came back, Johnny was gone, and so was “he.” Paulina also informs Johnny that he may be the one who shot his father.
Finally, Marlena gets the call she’s been waiting for: John has been found. In Horton Square, she tearfully tells Susan the news. Susan’s reaction? She feels as if someone just walked over her grave! The announcer teases that one family will be changed forever after this week!
