Days of our lives spoilers: NEW DRAMA Doug’s girlfriend shows up to shock everyone.

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and the upcoming Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) recast may have a romantic rivalry brewing, so who will get Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) heart?

Holly wants to be there for Doug, but he’s growing increasingly concerned about all the drama he keeps dragging her into. That’s why Doug bailed on Holly at the Kiriakis mansion and started looking for local homeless shelters instead.

However, Holly is stubborn, particularly when it comes to fighting for someone she believes in. Doug has made some mistakes, but Holly knows he’s a nice guy at his core and may keep working to help him in any way she can.

Even so, Doug may do his best to push Holly away for her own good. Since Doug feels like he’s trouble, he could be drawn in a different romantic direction – especially if this aged-up Arianna returns as a bit of a troublemaker as well.

Arianna and Holly may become romantic rivals when it comes to Doug, so that could bring some interesting love triangle mayhem. Doug may find himself caught between protective Holly and bad girl Arianna.

That said, there’s also the matter of Tate Black (Leo Howard) and whether Holly might actually belong with him instead. Holly clearly still has some feelings for Tate deep down, so she may be pulled back toward her ex eventually.

At some point, it seems likely Days will reveal that Tate isn’t the true father of Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) unborn child. The door’s wide open for Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) to be the baby daddy instead if he hit the sheets with Sophia off-screen.

Days spoilers say Aaron will return to Salem, so he may confront Sophia about whether that’s HIS baby down the road! This could turn into a soapy mess that leaves Tate needing someone to lean on, so Holly could offer support.

In other words, Days may ultimately pull Holly and Tate back together while Doug finds himself drawn to Arianna. There’s been some DOOL insider buzz about Arianna being Doug’s love interest – at least for a while!
