Sad News: Days of our Lives’ Louis Tomeo Suffers Deep Personal Loss
In the short time we got to know Louis Tomeo’s Days of Our Lives character, Aaron, we grew to like him. He was Tate’s friend who proved his loyalty by taking the young Black’s place at lacrosse camp so his buddy could be with Holly.
And while Aaron’s had to deal with family drama in the form of Clyde forcing his sister Cat to pretend to be Abigail come back from the dead, he had a far more heartbreaking situation in real life which he shared on social media.
He Was a Grandma’s Boy
Tomeo shared several pictures on Instagram and wrote, “If you know me, you know I’m a total grandma’s boy,” he began, continuing, “If indeed you knew me, you knew also that I wore my grandparents about my person like armor.
Their legacy and importance in my family was regal. My Grandmother Mary Ann, passed away.”
He continued praising his grandmother’s life with, “Nothing in her 83 years of life mattered more to her than her 6 grandchildren.
This song is what we danced to, in commemorating her and my Grandfather’s wedding. My grandparents were married 60 YEARS!
Think of them as New York Danny and Sandy from Grease.” The young actor thanked everyone for their well-wishes and concluded by writing, “I love you Nanny, you are my sunshine.🇮🇹❤️.”
She Touched Many Lives
Condolences for Tomeo’s loss poured in, especially from people who either knew his Nanny or had the good fortune to meet her, with one follower reacting, “Oh man there is NOTHING like a grandmas’s love.
I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful woman ❤️.” Another responded, “My heart goes out to you and y’all, dear Louis. She was such a vibrant person who loved you all dearly. I’m sending all love and hugs your way. 🤍🤍☀️💫✨.”
The snaps he shared in his post included a couple of shots of him as a tot hanging with his loving Nanny, while another one was of him older and dancing with her.
Lastly, there was a video clip of what could be his grandfather reacting to the video paying tribute to her life. Another follower commented, “No way 😭😭💔.
I’m so sorry to see that your grandmother passed way. I was fortunate to meet such a beautiful and sweet person. She bragged about you so much. My condolences to you and your family. 🙏❤️”
