Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 27, derail Sophia’s and Tate’s plans…even when Holly doesn’t know exactly what she’s doing.
Two Wrongs Don’t Make a Right
We’ve got so many problems with Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) and Tate’s (Leo Howard) plan to get her an abortion we don’t even know where to start.
Sophia says “her state” requires parental permission for her to get an abortion because she’s under 18. Has Sophia heard of…lying? Fake name, fake age, pay in cash? Done.
And speaking of cash, Tate isn’t sure if he can get the money together to help her. This is the Tate who, last Christmas, bought Holly a first edition retailing for tens of thousands of dollars. The kid has resources.
Finally, if Sophia doesn’t have a car or know how to drive, can she not take a plane? A train? A bus? Does “her state” have no public transportation options?
How does Holly (Ashley Puzemis) need to upset their plans when the ones they have are so terrible to begin with?

Leo (Greg Rikaart) is a fine, upstanding citizen now. He has the most holy job of all—soap opera writer. He has denounced his wicked, wicked ways.
Why, then, is he helping Doug III (Peyton Meyer) pawn the necklace he stole? Sure, Leo is an idiot who falls for the first pretty face he sees, but…oh, wait, we just answered our own question. Never mind.
New Year, New Me
Now that they’ve got the whole Who Arrested Hattie (Deidre Hall) kerfuffle all straightened out, Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering) are ready to get married. They set a wedding date! Yay? Sure, yay.
Meanwhile, Belle (Martha Madison) has a chance at a new job. This will come in handy now that EJ has ordered Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) to fire Belle from DiMera.
As for EJ, he has to deal with a Rafe clone who refuses to leave his house until EJ gives him money. EJ has a lot of money. Why is this a problem?
