Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 20, head into Christmas week with a tale of family togetherness as Jennifer tries to protect her cousin Julie (yes, despite the age difference, they are cousins:
Julie’s mother, Addie, and Jennifer’s father, Bill, were siblings) from her newfound step-grandson, Doug, by asking questions neither Julie nor Doug is keen to answer.
Stolen Moments
First, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) didn’t believe the newly arrived in town, self-proclaimed Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) was actually who he said he was.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) called her half-brother, Charles, to confirm that he had a son named Doug. Charles seems surprised that his boy was in Salem.
Did Hope bother to send him a photo to confirm that the guy calling himself Doug was actually Charles’ son? No?
OK, guess we’re on the honor system. So now Jennifer believes that Doug is Doug’s (Bill Hayes) grandson. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is happy to hear that.
Jennifer also believes Doug stole Alice’s (Frances Reid) necklace. Julie is less happy to hear that.
Problem Child
Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) is pregnant. Tate (Leo Howard) is the father. He swears to Sophia that he’ll help her take care of their mutual problem.
Meanwhile, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is urging Holly (Ashley Puzemis) not to rush into anything with Tate. Considering how things worked out for Sophia, that’s even better advice than Maggie knows.
Out and About
Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Ava (Tamara Braun) are not going on a date.
He’s just got an extra ticket to The Nutcracker—now that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) won’t let him take Rachel (Finley Rose Slater)—and they’re going together.
This is not a date, which is good. Because this not a date is going…not well. Is Kristen responsible? Or is this something even a DiMera can’t control?
