“We only did two episodes, so no, it was not for the money,” Todd shared. “There needed to be closure for the tail end of this documentary.” He continued that while he might not have plans for the show to continue for several years, he believes, “It will continue, it’s going to get picked back up.”
What happened in the first season of ‘The Chrisleys: Back to Reality’?
In the debut season of the Chrisley family’s return to television, viewers got a glimpse at life both before and after Todd and Julie’s release. In the early episodes, fans at home got an up-close look at Savannah Chrisley as she took on the responsibility of raising her younger siblings, as well as fighting for her mother and father’s release.
Meanwhile, the tension between her and her brother Chase was a major plot point throughout the season up until the very end.
