Todd and Julie Chrisley are officially coming back to reality TV next week. Literally.
Their new show, “Chrisleys: Back to Reality,” follows Todd and Julie Chrisley as they are pardoned by President Donald Trump, released from their respective prisons in Florida and Kentucky, and a return home.
In 2022, the Chrisleys were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion, turning themselves in to prison in January 2023. Their daughter, “Chrisley Knows Best” co-star Savannah Chrisley, lobbied for her parents’ release. Her plea reached the Oval Office, and in May 2025, Trump granted the “According to Chrisley” stars a full pardon.
The family appeared on “My View with Lara Trump” on Fox News Channel weeks after their release, where they confirmed a return to the small screen: “We’re coming back to television,” Todd Chrisley told Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law.
“It’s amazing that those that walked away from you are the first ones knocking at the door again. So we’re coming back to television, and I think that we’re heading back home,” Todd Chrisley said.
“We’re heading back to South Carolina, where we came from, and we’re going to open a hotel there… We’re going to create a show around it, and we’re going to hopefully be grandparents at some point.”
But for those who don’t want to wait until next week to see the Chrisleys return to the screen, there are a couple of post-prison interviews already out that you can stream, including an ABC News Studios “Life After Lockup” special. And the original “Chrisley Knows Best” show is also available to stream.
The Chrisleys actually have had a myriad of shows, from a reality show following the lives of their children, to a talk-variety show and even a cooking show.
Here’s what we know about “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” reality TV series, when it premieres and how to stream the other Chrisley shows in the meantime.

“The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” reality TV series begins during the wake of the “family’s controversy and upheaval,” a news release said, with Todd and Julie Chrisley in federal prison and follows the family as their parents are eventually pardoned by Donald Trump, released from prison in Florida and Kentucky, and their return home to Tennessee.
“The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” show will premiere as a two-night event at 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, and Tuesday, Sept. 2, on Lifetime. The remaining episodes will air back-to-back at 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET Tuesdays, beginning on Sept. 9, and ending with the finale on Sept. 16.
A news release from Lifetime says that the series shows a “side of the Chrisleys that has never been seen before with exclusive access to the family — Julie and Todd from prison and upon their release, Savannah, Chase, Grayson, Chloe, Nanny Faye, and for the first time, Julie’s parents Harvey and Pam.”
“The new series exposes the raw truth of the Chrisley’s lives — past and present — and the reality is far different from what audiences have seen before,” the release says.
“The family faces a critical point that will either make their bond stronger or leave it shattered forever. This series delivers an unfiltered, deeply personal look at their journey and introduces the real Chrisleys as they navigate this new chapter.”
The producers behind “The Challenge” and “Vanderpump Villa” produced “Chrisleys: Back to Reality.” Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley serve as executive producers.
