“Savannah Chrisley’s Shocking Ultimatum to Lindsie: ‘We’re Not Family Anymore’ – What Really Happened?”

There continues to be no love lost between Savannah Chrisley and Lindsie Chrisley.

In the trailer for the upcoming reality series The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which premieres Sept. 1 on Lifetime, the Chrisleys reflect on having their “own family members betray” them

“The prosecutor read the letter Lindsie wrote to the FBI. We’re no longer family, lose our last name,” Savannah, 27, claims of her older sister.

“I mean, your blood will screw you over than a stranger definitely will,” Grayson Chrisley added.

The feud with Lindsie has only escalated after Todd and Julie Chrisley were indicted on 12 counts of bank and wired fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy, and later convicted and sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in November 2022 (though that number was reduced by around two years each in September 2023).

They immediately began appealing their case, and while Todd’s appeal was upheld, Julie’s was initially granted due to insufficient evidence. However, a judge later ruled that her original punishment was sufficient.

“This family’s been torn apart. Because it was always like this and now then it’s like this,” Nanny Faye Chrisley admits in the trailer as she indicates the distance between them with her hands before the pair were pardoned by President Donald Trump and released from prison in May.

“With my parents gone, our household is completely divided,” Savannah shares. “I told my parents I don’t know if it can ever be repaired, honestly.”

Lindsie did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The trailer dropped two weeks after Lindsie detailed the reasons for her changing her name on Instagram to “Lindsie Landsman.”

On the July 16 episode of her podcast, The Southern Tea, the former reality star — who is currently estranged from parents Todd and Julie — said, “For a long time, I very much battled with carrying my maiden last name, and with me carrying that last name came public association.”

The very well-known surname, Lindsie added, also came with “assumptions of all different kinds, weight that I truly feel like I never asked for.”

“And I do think it’s fair to say that contrary to what some people believe, the Chrisley last name, while it did start with [reality show] Chrisley Knows Best — and we all collectively were doing that project together — outside of that, that last name did not create income or opportunity for me,” she continued.

“In fact,” the television personality claimed, the Chrisley name actually “became very problematic with me being associated in any capacity, in business, and has been problematic for projects that I have done post-Chrisley Knows Best.”

Amid her estrangement from the family, Lindsie has been embroiled in a public feud with Savannah over the last few years.

The sisters have both declared their lack of interest in resolving the tension.

Lindsie said their current relationship is “nothing” in February 2024 and claimed that her younger sister “has never privately reached out to me to discuss her apparent issues with me.” Meanwhile, Savannah told PEOPLE in October 2023 that she’s “good” and doesn’t “do well with constant lies and victim mentality.”

“I have realized that as an adult, it’s my responsibility to have healthy relationships and cut out unhealthy ones,” the Unlocked host said, referencing Lindsie as well as older brother Kyle Chrisley. “And especially now with the two kids, it’s my job to protect them emotionally, physically, psychologically and I just don’t have room for people that don’t want to show up and show up in a healthy manner.”

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality premieres as a two-night event Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime, with a finale dropping on Sept. 16.
