“‘I’m Scared’: Julie Chrisley’s Disturbing Prison Revelation Stuns Savannah”
During the July 1, 2025 episode of Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, Julie and her husband, Todd Chrisley, reflected on their two years behind bars, admitting that they had to face a lot of hostility at the hands of the staff as well as the inmates.
While listening to her mother’s shocking confession, Savannah claimed that the officer locked her mother because he was “pissed off” at her. Todd chimed in to say that while he and Julie were living in separate facilities, both of them were surrounded by “miserable human beings,” while referring to the correctional officers.
According to the Chrisley family patriarch, he would wake up every day determined to make their life miserable. “Because they were there to make our lives miserable,” explained the reality star. Todd added that while a lot of inmates would try to befriend the prison staff, he knew better than to do that.
The real estate entrepreneur added that women generally receive harsher treatment in prison. He revealed that Julie had to face longer appeal processes while Todd had the luxury to push for necessities like air conditioning, and his appeals were addressed relatively quickly.

The situation escalated months later when Singer allegedly made some inappropriate comments about Savannah.
That’s what led Todd to confront Singer and warn him against talking about his family. According to the reality star, after the direct response, his fellow inmate never approached him again. However, Savannah revealed that her father was almost transferred to a different facility to keep the situation from escalating.
Despite everything, though, both Todd and Julie shared that they found strength in their faith. The Chrisley family patriarch revealed that he prayed and read his Bible every day, along with working out to stay busy. He also shared a dream he had during his incarceration, where God was telling him that his time behind bars was not in vain.
