It’s no secret that the Chrisley family is estranged. Specifically, Lindsie Chrisley is far removed from her relatives who are in the spotlight. So much so, that she recently changed her last name in hopes of not carrying its public weight.

The stories as to why Lindsie isn’t involved with the rest of her family have differed. However, in The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, her sister Savannah Chrisley led the charge to try and make it crystal clear. She accused her of going against the family by speaking with the FBI. She also claimed that she was fired from Chrisley Knows Best for her behavior. Savannah single-handedly painted Lindsie as the villain, and Lindsie is now receiving the backlash.

Lindsie recently took to her Southern Tea podcast to address the show’s depiction of her, which she had zero say-so in. While she never even watched it, viewers mentioned her repeatedly on social media. And no, not in a good way.

“It has put me in a very emotional place, to the point that I completely took myself off of social media altogether for the past seven weeks. Because I’m driving my kid to school and get him dropped off at school and realize that people are telling me to kill myself,” she shared in the October 22 episode.

The former Chrisley is prepared to tell the whole truth on her podcasts, no matter how that portrays anyone.

“I never had any intention of doing this. The Lifetime documentary of my family came out … and a lot of the things that were aired were inaccurate depictions of what has transpired.”

It seems like this series’ chaos boils down to the ongoing riff between Lindsie and Savannah. The two were arguing long before this show. Savannah even admitted to asking Lindsie not to come to their parents’ appeal hearing. With the prison sentences not bringing them together, who knows what will spark a reconciliation.
