Is Bad Mom Willow is Good Enough for Scout on General Hospital?
On General Hospital, Drew has been shot and is currently in, well, General Hospital. Drew doesn’t want his daughter Scout spending time with her brothers, her grandmother, or her aunts—basically, with anyone not Drew-approved.
So while Drew recovers, Scout will be living with Willow, which is where we have some questions.
Drew’s Guardianship Deal With Willow
Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn McMullen) were engaged. She left Michael (Rory Gibson, who teased that Michael is in panic mode) and moved on to his uncle, Drew.
While Michael was in Germany recovering from the burns that never touched his face, Drew convinced Willow to make him the guardian for Wylie and Amelia.
And, in exchange, he made her guardian of his daughter — what’s her name? — er, Scout (Cosette Abinante).
Michael’s Custody Battle Against Willow
When Michael came back to Port Charles, the first thing he did was sue Willow for custody of the kids. Due to some behind-the-scenes shenanigans, Willow was declared unstable and dangerous to be around children.
(Granted, her breakdown in the rain didn’t help.) So she is bad for Wylie and Amelia. But she’s peachy keen for Scout?
Why Isn’t Scout With the Quartermaines or Alexis?
It’s not like Scout doesn’t have anyone else. There’s Dante (Dominic Zaparonga), who was more of a father to her than Drew, most of the time.
There is the entire Quartermaine family. All Quartermaine kids spend more time at the mansion than they do with their own parents.
There is her grandma Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). WE know she’s busy keeping Ric (Rick Hearst) tied up in her house, but the courts don’t.
Double Standards in Port Charles Custody Rules
So if Willow can be around Scout, then why can’t she at least visit her own children? Michael is Scout’s cousin.
