The Young and the Restless Monday, September 15 Update | Y&R 09/15/2025

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 15, reveals that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will get a new Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) mission while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) suspects Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has a secret.

In the park, Michael will do his best to mend fences with Phyllis now that he’s working for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), too.

However, Phyllis will be skeptical when Michael acts like he took the job to repair their friendship.

Michael will further raise Phyllis’ suspicions when he admits he’s leaving Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) in the dark on his new gig.

Phyllis will realize there’s more to the story, so she’ll want to know what Michael’s hiding. If Michael doesn’t come clean, Phyllis will vow to convince Cane not to trust him.

Meanwhile, Amanda will meet with Cane on his train, where he’ll explain that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will only think he’s in control of the AI software.

Cane will actually still be in the driver’s seat when it comes to what that software will do.

Cane will also ask where things stand between Amanda and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

After Amanda admits Lily still has some sympathy for her due to all the cheating drama with Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordwar), Cane will push her to turn that into a friendship and score information for him.

Cane will want Amanda to get answers about Lily’s true feelings and see if she might be able to see the good in him at some point.

Amanda will tackle the first phase of that mission soon after when she interrupts Devon and Lily at Society.

After Amanda mentions Cane’s remorse over the twins’ pain, she’ll push for a private meeting with Lily.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will give Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) updates on Kyle’s latest blunders – including the secret deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) she just found out about.

Claire will also gripe about Kyle being too possessive and trying to warn her away from Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), who was a great friend to her during her grief over Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Victoria won’t approve of Kyle’s mistakes, but she’ll also see that maybe he’s making them because he’s so scared of losing Claire.

At the coffeehouse, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will walk in and spot Kyle, who’ll wonder if Nate wants to hit him over what happened with Audra Charles (Zuleyka). Nate will consider Kyle a victim as well, so no punches will be thrown.

Kyle will hate that Nate’s struggling with his breakup, but they’ll both agree it’s best if he moves on from Audra.

Once talk turns to Holden, Nate will basically back up all Kyle’s negative feelings about him and admit he thinks Holden is “bad news.”

After Victoria and Claire arrive, they’ll join Nate and Kyle’s conversation.

Claire will assume they were talking about Audra and Holden, so she’ll confront Kyle privately and push for details.

Kyle will acknowledge that Nate agrees with him about not trusting Holden, but Claire will think she can take care of herself.

It’s Kyle who Claire is having a hard time trusting these days.

Kyle will get that he’s making a mess of things, but he’ll suggest it’s only because he’s terrified of losing Claire.

That’ll back up Victoria’s earlier assessment of the situation.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will plead to reset their romance, so stay tuned for Claire’s response!
