Chase Chrisley Breaks Down His Drinking Habits and Battery Arrest: 'Hit Rock Bottom'

The Chrisley Knows Best star recently opened up about his stomach issues, sharing the effects his health has had on his everyday life.

“My health is going,” he admitted during the Sept. 9 episode of Chrisleys: Back to Reality, per People. “I don’t know if it’s just everything I’ve done catching up to me.”

And it reached the point where he ultimately admitted to girlfriend Jodie Laine Fournerat later in the episode that he was getting “scared,” regarding his bodily function.

“Within, like, the last year I’ve lost a lot of weight,” Chase explained in a confessional. “My body’s just, like, rejecting food.”

The episode went on to show a supercut of Chase vomiting, before the 29-year-old told his girlfriend in a separate scene, “I just literally can’t keep anything down.”

After seeking medical attention, he later told his grandmother Faye Chrisley that his doctor wants to run some tests to find out the cause of his digestive issues, noting he may even get a CT scan, “to see if I have a brain tumor.”

Chase’s concern over his health comes just over a week after his sister Savannah Chrisley expressed a similar sentiment on Chrisleys: Back to Reality, saying his struggles had been ongoing amid their parents’ Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s prison sentences—prior to their release in May—noting he “does not look healthy.”

To Savannah, Chase’s health problems appear to stem from drinking.

“I feel Chase’s behavior just continues to go further and further downhill, and all that does is damage our relationship even more,” the 28-year-old shared during the Sept. 1 episode of the docuseries. “I have tried to help him before he got arrested. I had set up for him to go to a treatment facility.”

As Savannah recalled leading up to Chase’s January arrest for assaulting the manager of a sports bar, she had gotten him a spot in a rehabilitation center, before he told her to “go f–k” herself.

And despite Chase’s recent cause for concern, he maintained that alcohol is not the root of his issues.

“I’m not the type to, like, drink every day and wake up wanting a drink or craving a drink, or anything like that,” Chase, who said he was one month sober in March, explained during the Sept. 1 episode. “Just like, whenever I go, I go.”
