General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell’s Mysterious Plans For Maxie Revealed!
General Hospital spoilers indicate that an unknown enzyme has been detected in Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) bloodstream and was the reason for her collapse during the Home & Heart show.
It has been suggested that there was foul play involved, and that Maxie was injected with this enzyme intentionally. We are not aware of whether or not it was before and during the Deception segment with the night cream that she was demonstrating right before she collapsed.
It is widely believed that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is responsible for this in order to thwart Maxie from going to the authorities about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) investing crooked money into Deception. This would interfere in his plans for Sonny, and he needs to keep Maxie quiet.
The Enzyme Is Mysterious And New
After Maxie’s test results determined that her heart was functioning normally, they detected an enzyme in her bloodstream that was causing the issue, and this enzyme was something that Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) had never seen before.
Jenz Sidwell Is Responsible For Maxie’s Plight
Sooner or later, it could be revealed that Sidwell is the one who made sure that Maxie was injected with the enzyme in order to keep her quiet.
He probably was not aware that Maxie had a heart transplant, and that it could cause her further complications. He just needed to put her in an unconscious state until the vote for Measure C to be over, and then he can use the antidote on her.
He wouldn’t mind at that point if Maxie went to the authorities about Sonny because it wouldn’t make a difference to him. Sidwell could already have the antidote and is waiting until the time is right to use it to revive Maxie.
Where Did The Enzyme Come From?
Perhaps the enzyme that is plaguing Maxie has something to do with Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) work, and is related to her boss. This man could also be working closely with Sidwell, and therefore it would be very easy for him to get access to it.
Could the enzyme have been developed via cold fusion, as in what Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is working on? Although it is possible that it came from elsewhere, this enzyme could be linked to them as well.
Maybe these enzymes are also what is helping Britt with her Huntington’s Disease, which she claims is in remission. These enzymes could be very useful in biotechnology, and could help answer a lot of questions. Will Maxie wake up once Sidwell gives her the antidote to this mysterious enzyme?
What Do You Think?
What do you think? Do you think that Sidwell was responsible for giving Maxie the enzyme? Will Sidwell wake Maxie up with the antidote once Measure C has passed?
What is this enzyme and is it related to Dalton, Britt, and her boss?
