Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Makes a Shocking Decision
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 21, prompt Jack to try just one more time to make his son listen to reason about the choices he’s been making. However, it’s Victor’s shocking decision that turns heads in this episode.
Jack Gives Kyle Wisdom
Jack (Peter Bergman) has been warning Kyle (Michael Mealor) about Victor (Eric Braeden) for literally years. He told Kyle not to trust Victor professionally or personally. Kyle didn’t listen. Victor screwed him over. Both professionally and personally.
Yet, Kyle kept coming back for more, convinced that he is the smartest guy in the room, and he’ll pull one over on Victor eventually.
Now, we all know Kyle isn’t even smart enough to beat Harrison (Redding Munsell) is Candyland. But one of the problems with being stupid is that you don’t know how stupid you are.
But, even not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, Kyle has to be able to see that nothing he’s ever done has managed to score over Victor.
Jack can see it. And Jack loves his boy! Which is why Kyle should listen to Jack’s latest warnings. But we suspect he won’t.
Victor Makes a Shocking Decision
Especially because Victor is in the midst of plotting yet another big move. He’s planning to work with Cane (Billy Flynn) to bring down Jabot.
But he’s also planning to double-cross Cane by using Nick (Joshua Morrow)! And he’s planning to use Adam (Mark Grossman) to undermine Billy (Jason Thompson)! So much planning!
So much plotting! We hope he doesn’t get confused and outsmart himself.
Of course, it’s possible that Victor will somehow decide that his relationship with Claire (Hayley Erin) is more important than hating Kyle. Perhaps Victor turns over a magnanimous leaf and decides to give his approval rather than risk Claire’s and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) wrath.
Nate Updates Devon
Nate (Sean Dominic) can only dream of playing in the same big leagues with Victor, Jack, Nick, Adam, and Billy. He tries. And he fails. But, unlike Kyle, he’s not the kind of nepo-baby who always gets bailed out. Nate has to count on the kindness of more distant relatives, like Cousin Devon (Bryton James). Whom he now fills in on the latest drama.
