General Hospital: Britt’s Secret Boss – Not-Dead Blast from the Past?

Who is Britt Westbourne’s Mystery Boss? Five Resurrected Villains Who Could Be Pulling the Strings

What Happened to Britt on General Hospital? - Soap Opera Digest

For General Hospital fans, the mystery surrounding Britt Westbourne’s fate has been a gripping puzzle. We now know the presumed-dead doctor is alive, but she is far from free.

Tucked away in a lavish Croatian resort that doubles as a sinister science center, Britt is being forced to work for a mysterious male boss. The price of her compliance?

A life-saving experimental drug for the Huntington’s disease threatening to claim her life. This shadowy figure is not just on Britt’s radar; the entire clandestine operation, which includes the villainous Professor Dalton and Jen Sidwell, has drawn the attention of the WSB, who may want the dangerous research for their own nefarious purposes.

Given that death is often a temporary inconvenience in Port Charles, and considering the WSB’s own dark history with mind-control experiments, speculation is rampant that Britt’s new boss is a resurrected figure from GH‘s past.

With Britt herself having cheated death, the return of a past villain seems not only possible but likely. Based on casting rumors and character history, here are the top five candidates who could be the mastermind tormenting Dr. Westbourne.

1. Cesar Faison

The most logical and chilling suspect is Britt’s own father, the diabolical Cesar Faison. As one of the most ruthless villains in the show’s history, Faison’s return would be monumental. The connection is deeply personal: he passed the Huntington’s gene to Britt. It’s plausible that Faison, in his egomania, developed a treatment for himself and is now using it as leverage to control his daughter, forcing her to continue his evil work. The man pulling the strings could very well be Britt’s bad-news dad.

2. Peter August

Another branch on the twisted Faison family tree leads to Britt’s half-brother, Peter August. Though he is also dead, his body was quickly removed, leaving his fate open-ended. Peter was perpetually desperate for his father’s approval and harbored a sick, possessive fascination with having Britt in his life. Forcing her to work for him under duress aligns perfectly with his modus operandi of seeking affection and attention through the most diabolical means possible.

3. Nathan West

What if the boss is Britt’s other dead brother, Nathan West? This would be a shocking twist, as Nathan was a genuinely good man who died a hero. However, with rumors of actor Ryan Paevey’s potential return, a “Dark Nathan” storyline is tantalizing. Perhaps the scientific experiments being conducted were first tested on him, resurrecting him but twisting his personality into a Faison-esque villain. It’s a long shot, but a resurrected Nathan—perhaps with Faison’s memories implanted—would be a stunning and tragic development.

General Hospital - Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) - Soap Opera Spy

4. Victor Cassadine

If it’s not a Faison, a Cassadine is the next logical choice. Victor Cassadine, who was obsessed with Britt’s mother, Dr. Liesl Obrecht, makes a compelling candidate. Resurrecting Britt and holding the cure for her illness could be his twisted way of trying to win Liesl’s favor. Though he was presumed killed in an explosion, a Cassadine comeback is always on the table, and his history with Britt’s family makes him a prime suspect.

5. Spencer Cassadine

A final, fan-favorite possibility is a recast Spencer Cassadine. Though he was a hero toward the end of his life, Spencer always possessed the signature Cassadine dark streak.

He was also incredibly close to Britt, which would make his role as her tormentor all the more painful and dramatic. A resurrected Spencer, perhaps with his memories altered or his darker instincts amplified, would be a welcome, albeit complicated, return to the Port Charles canvas.
