Savannah Chrisley wants to take advantage of her time in the spotlight to launch her political career.
She has been an outspoken advocate of prison reform since Todd and Julie Chrisley were incarcerated in 2023.
Her parents were recently released and Savannah has a new goal in mind.
The 27-year-old has spoken in interviews about running for public office.
According to People, Savannah teased the possibility in the Chrisley’s interview with Juju Chang.
When speaking about her efforts to free her parents, she noted, “I didn’t realize how broken the system was. I thought bad people go to prison, and that’s what it was, and that is so far from the truth.”
“Now I see all the broken things in the system where individuals have to be rehabilitated, where we need mental health treatment for these individuals, as well as giving them job opportunities and advocating for them when it comes to that,” Savannah added.
Juju acknowledged the former reality star’s speech at the RNC and asked if she had considered a “political career.”
She answered coyly, “There’s been some talk of a congressional run.”
