Daytime Emmy-winning actress Jess Walton is making her way back to Y&R as the legendary Jill Abbott. Fans can expect to see her return on Tuesday, August 5, when Jill has a tense confrontation with Billy (Jason Thompson).

While the spoilers for the episode keep things vague, they hint at a heated exchange between mother and son. Could Jill be checking in on Billy’s latest business decisions, or is she calling him out for something more personal? Like Chance’s death?

This marks Walton’s first appearance on the soap since November 26, 2024, when Jill fired Billy as head of Abbott-Chancellor during a dramatic video call.
