GH Recap: Jason Digs Into Britt’s Death and Uncovers a Shocking Lead

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 1, reveals that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a threatening encounter while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) grills Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) will also face a change-up, so there’ll be a lot happening in Port Charles.

Although Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) will feel confident in her plan to break in Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab using the stolen master key, she’ll recruit some backup just in case.

Giovanni “Gio” Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) will do some plotting with Emma, who’ll have some reinforcements in mind as she moves forward with the next steps.

There’ll also be another adorable Outback sighting on Friday’s show.

Emma’s dog will bark and remain part of the action, so fans will definitely want to stay tuned.

In Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) office, he’ll have a strategy session with Vaughn and Josslyn since they’ve been taken off their investigation.

Josslyn may worry they’ve done something wrong, but the real issue here is that Dalton isn’t the main target anymore.

It sounds like Brennan will deliver some new orders and have the two of them pivot to a new target.

Since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is putting it together that Britt is alive, that’s something the WSB might find out, too.

It’s possible Britt could become the center of the investigation, but it’s also possible it’ll be someone else who’s connected to all the mysterious research.

It appears a guy named Pascal (Mark Forget) will ambush Britt and toss some threats around on Friday’s episode.

If the WSB’s new target is Pascal, that could offer another path to discovering Britt’s part of this operation.

Speaking of Britt, Jason will tell Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about witnessing her boarding a flight in Paris.

Anna will get updates on all the details – including the fact that the mortuary has no record of the date and time Britt was cremated.

Jason will come clean to Anna and push her to tell him that he’s not crazy.

This is more than just Britt’s memory messing with Jason’s head, so Anna may agree and offer some reassurance on that.

Over with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), she’ll seem worried as she asks another character what happened.

Kristina will corner someone with questions on Friday’s episode and try to help if she can.

There’s a chance this might tie in with Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) pursuit of answers.

Alexis will likely interrogate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and wonder how he plans to handle Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) confusion over his failed wedding.

That could lead to conflict between Alexis and Drew before Kristina comes along to quiz her mom later.

As for Dante, he’ll grill Danny about something important.

Since Danny spends a lot of time with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), Dante may ask about his son and how he’s really coping with all the Britt-related revelations.

Dante may also wonder if Danny’s heard about Rocco’s meeting with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and any other meetings that might be on the horizon.

Since there’s emotional distance between Dante and Rocco right now, he may feel like talking to Danny is the next best thing.

At GH, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will use Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) as a confidant since he’ll struggle to just let things go when it comes to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Lucas is still hopping mad over Sonny abducting Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), so he’ll have trouble dealing with his emotions.

Felicia will provide some guidance and try to help Lucas navigate his tricky relationship with Marco, but the situation could get even more complicated due to Marco’s vengeful alliance with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Sonny and Sidwell’s feud is far from over, so you can bet it’ll continue to affect Lucas and Marco’s romance in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, Sonny will get some stunning news.

It looks like Sonny will hear all about the wedding drama and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) meltdowns, so he may side with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) about keeping her away from the kids – at least for now.

General Hospital spoilers say Michael’s priority will remain protecting Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), so stay tuned.
