The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, July 24 | Y&R 07/24/2025 Spoilers

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 24, reveal Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get hurt as his escape plot goes wrong. Carter (Vincent Stalba) will also face a grilling session, so let’s talk about what Y&R fans can look forward to.

Now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) are starting to suspect Carter’s guilty, they’ll want to grill him on Thursday’s episode.

Chance and Victor will corner Carter alone in a train car, where he’ll discuss his loyalty to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Although Carter will admit he’d do anything for Cane, he’ll argue that he’s not responsible for Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) murder.

Carter will make it clear that he didn’t act on Cane’s behalf or cover anything up for his boss, but will Victor and Chance believe him?

Of course, the killer wouldn’t just flat-out confess to Chance and Victor when they have no proof!

It’s still possible that Carter is to blame for Damian’s demise – especially if he went rogue and acted in what he believed was Cane’s best interest.

That said, there are more murder mystery twists and turns to come, so stay tuned for updates on any other potential culprits that might get thrown in the mix.

Whatever the case, the danger’s about to escalate thanks to Nick and Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) attempt to escape from the storage room they’re locked in.

Although it looks like Sharon will manage to get the door unlocked, trouble will be waiting once that happens.

Nick will wind up with a wounded side, so that could be the security guard’s effort to make him stay put.

On the other hand, the killer or an accomplice could be responsible for Nick’s injury instead.

Either way, Sharon will tend to wounded Nick, who’ll also get some help from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) when she pops up and tries to stop the bleeding, too.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get tangled up in all the Nick chaos before the week’s over, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be busy making a choice regarding his brother in the meantime.

It sounds like Jack will go along with fed-up Billy’s decision to end their partnership.

Jack may take back his funding and let Billy team up with risky Cane if that’s what he really wants to do.
