General Hospital Spoilers: The Number ONE Reason Carly Goes Gunning For Britt
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there are many reasons Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) should fear her old foe Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)—if she’s still alive and comes back to PC.
Assuming that she is (we shall find out in mere days) poor Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be in the middle of this mess since both ladies are territorial over Blue Eyes.
How will Carly react if she discovers that Britt is alive and well and in town? Keep reading to find out all the possibilities!
1) Carly Is Territorial Over Jason
Carly thinks she owns Jason and there’s not much to say after that. As such, Carly tolerates no deviation from his attentiveness and if Britt is back from the dead we all know he will be overjoyed.
Jason has been talking up her virtues recently, enough so that an equally insecure and jealous woman as Carly, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), has demanded he stop. No one puts Baby Jason in a corner!
We predict that if Kelly Thiebaud is back as the Britch, then she and Jason will explore their connection. In this case will Carly try to persuade Jason that this is not the real Britt–Stranger things have happened!
How likely is it that a big chunk of Carly wants Jason? They got married after all, before another PC’er, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) came back from the dead and ripped their union asunder.
Carly is happy enough with Jack Webb Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) but no one will ever equal that moment she set eyes on Jason in a dank pool hall.
At some point Brennan will be exposed as a two-bit schemer and Carly will flip him like a flapjack. Which means crying on Jason’s shoulder even though he’ll tell her ‘I told you so.’ But the biggest reason that Carly could turn on Britt hits even closer to home.
3) Carly Sides With Lulu against Britt
The show is leaning into Britt becoming a second mom for poor Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), given that he is saddled with braying Lulu as a mother figure.
Lulu is a self-righteous piece of work, and she will be broken if Britt returns and bonds with the embryo she stole—Ben, erm, make that Rocco.
No matter what, Jason will gravitate to Britt if she’s alive. But having Britt also mess with Carly’s family will be the cherry that sends Snarly over the top.
GH hasn’t confirmed that Kelly Thiebaud is coming back as Britt, tell us who you think her character turns out to be!
