Y&R Spoilers: The man with gloves and a knife is revealed – Lily blocks a knife to save Damian’s life
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for Friday, July 4, reveals a gloved hand holding a knife, so the long-awaited whodunit is about to begin. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will also have a furious outburst as the drama heats up in Nice, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
Y&R’s Friday promo features Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) looking unsettled and curious back in the maze.
There’s also a glimpse of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) talking with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
The three of them seem rather uneasy as well when they turn to look nearby.
However, the most important part of the preview clip shows a gloved hand holding a knife – presumably the same one Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) held when he admired it on the train.
“The Young and the Restless saga continues when ambition turns fatal,” the announcer says in the promo.
“I know how ruthless you are, Cane!” another voice declares – and it certainly sounds like it belongs to Damian.
There may be a big faceoff coming up between Cane and Damian.
It’s easy to imagine Damian publicly threatening Cane so that he looks like the top suspect when the murder weapon turns up with his fingerprints all over it.
Of course, the real culprit will be wearing gloves, so he or she could avoid suspicion while Damian looks incredibly guilty.
Whatever the case, there are a couple of other interesting promo puzzle pieces – including Jack looking shocked and agitated while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) stands in the background.
The preview video wraps up with Cane smashing his first into the table in a fit of fury, so the tension’s about to skyrocket in France.
Although Cane expects someone will try to kill him, we know Billy Flynn is sticking around in the role.
Someone else seems poised to face a grim fate instead, so stick with us for updates on all the shocking news to come.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some wild cliffhanger moments are on the way, so stay tuned.
