The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, June 9 to June 20, reveal that Cane Ashby’s (previously played by Daniel Goddard) deception seems poised to explode while Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) signs off on Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) risky move.
During the week of June 9-13, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will bail on attending Aristotle Dumas’ party with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but she’ll seem jealous when she learns Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) scored an invite and will now be a guest.
However, Sharon won’t feel good about abandoning Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) when she’s going through so much.
Of course, Mariah doesn’t want to accept much help at the moment.
That’s why when Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) pushes for the whole story of what happened that night on her business trip, Mariah will ultimately lash out and want to be left alone.
Next, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will push Audra to set Kyle up for a fall by luring him to Dumas’ summer home for this party, which Audra and Kyle will eventually be invited to.
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will get updates on some of Audra’s plans as he listens in on her enlightening conversation with the great Victor Newman!
Other Y&R spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for some words of wisdom while Victor gives Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) one final choice.
If it comes down to getting fired or using Newman Media to target Billy, Adam may have to go against his promise to Chelsea.
Nevertheless, Chelsea will negotiate with Victor and prepare to strike a deal of some sort, so maybe she’ll convince him to go a little easier on Billy than he planned.
That said, Abbott Communications could still land in crisis mode if Adam trashes him publicly like Victor wants.
The fact that Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are delaying their launch could make it look like they’re incompetent and not ready to join the big dogs.
Sally will indeed help with some crisis management for Billy in the coming episodes, so he should appreciate that in the end.
Back with Kyle, he’ll pitch Claire on the idea of him attending this Dumas bash.
Claire presumably won’t want to leave Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) while he’s so sick, but she’ll give Kyle the green light to go without her.
Audra will also fill Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in on her plan to attend the gathering, but she’ll keep quiet about her goal of blowing up Kyle and Claire’s romance.
While Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) visit Genoa City, things will be ready to explode in Nice.
That’s where Dumas’ shindig will get underway and bring some jaw-dropping drama.
There’s been some talk about Friday the 13th being the official party date, but it seems the week of June 16-20 will be when the real action happens.
It seems like all this is building to the revelation of who Dumas actually is.
Plenty of behind-the-scenes clues point to Billy Flynn playing Dumas, but the bigger shocker will likely be that he’s a Cane Ashby recast!
Cane’s Dumas charade is sure to infuriate Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) along with all the other key players at this gathering when the truth comes to light.
Fans will also see reactions from Victor, Nikki, Billy, Nick, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Devon Winters (Bryton James) and more.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will have a hard time navigating the fallout, but she’ll do her best to defend Cane and help settle everyone down.
Despite Cane’s deception, Phyllis may remain all in on business goals and hope to work for him.
A wild whodunit is set to take place during the Dumas storyline sooner or later, so we’ll keep you posted on any other shocking news to come.
