GH Preview: As Michael Declares War, Brook Lynn and Lois Have the Mother of All Confrontations
We may need General Hospital to prescribe us some tranquilizers as we watch this week’s episodes.
Though we may have some problems with the show — and one biggie in particular — the next few days promise to be daytime at its most explosive.
Picking up where Friday left off (read the recap), we get an even better sense of how much darker Rory Gibson’s Michael will be than predecessor Chad Duell’s.
As Willow weeps that her estranged husband must know that the kids belong with her, he coldly responds, “Not anymore.”
Hey, at least she has Drew to comfort her. As if he’s any comfort at all!
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn can’t believe what has just gone down — and that her mother is responsible for it.
“It was you, all this time,” exclaims Brook Lynn, her heart breaking from the revelation that Lois has known for Gio’s entire life that he’s her daughter’s son.
Lois will, of course, try to justify her actions. By getting Gio adopted into their own family, she could keep an eye on him and make sure that he was happy and thriving
and, by all accounts, he was. Lois could never have predicted that the truth would come out, much less in such horrific fashion!
Finally, Olivia is not in the mood for explanations. “You did what was best for you!” she yells.
Though it isn’t clear whether she is ripping Lois a new one or lashing out at Lulu, we’re gonna guess based on the latter’s tearful expression that she’s at last getting the tongue-lashing she’s had coming to her for a while now!
