John Black’s Fate
In the next episode, fans can expect to find out John’s fate. Fans know that John was called in for backup in the sepsis drug recovery mission.
However, John saved everyone’s lives that day, but it led to severe burns and injuries. John’s lungs are affected and he has 3rd-degree burns over 30 percent of his body.
Just when Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) got there to see John all bandaged up, he uttered four words: “I love you, Doc.” Then, John flatlined.
In the next episode, expect Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to work feverishly to save John.
Meanwhile, Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) arrive at the hospital. They will sit by John’s hospital bed with Marlena, hoping that the hero wakes up.
Steve Johnson’s Declaration
Over with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), he will declare that John is a hero. The man certainly is, but it likely is going to cost him his life. While it seems Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) will live on, John’s loved ones will need to say goodbye.
Sarah Horton Kiriakis’ Distraction

With a baby girl they both adore, expect a custody battle if they don’t reunite. Meanwhile, Sarah will try to distract herself with work.
Sarah did tell Xander a big lie, but she did have good intentions. Sarah really thought that Xander would kill Philip if the truth came out. In a way, Xander proved her right.

Over with Maggie, she rips into Xander over what’s happened to Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). While Philip hasn’t woken up yet, everyone knows that the most likely suspect is Xander.
Even though Xander claims to have his reasons, he could go to prison for this attack. If Xander wasn’t going to think about himself or Sarah, then he should have thought about his little girl before seeking revenge.
