Bold & Beautiful is about to drop the twist of the decade in the heartbreaking story surrounding Liam’s inoperable brain tumor. If we’re on the right track, a stunning blindside will save his life, but also rock the entire canvas with a gobsmacking reveal.

Liam’s knock-down drag-out fight with Bill in the family homestead was nothing short of shocking.

He took issue, of course, with Bill using his considerable influence to have double-murderer Luna Nozawa, not only released from prison, but also pardoned.

Liam reminded his dad that this young psychopath killed two men and attacked Steffy, the mother of his grandchild, locked her up, drugged her, and left her for dead.

To say Bill had no remorse would be an understatement. He was borderline cold and cruel toward Liam, who ended up resigning from his position in the family company in protest.

Still unmoved, Bill ordered his son out of his house before slamming out himself. What ensued next was nothing short of terrifying.

Liam, who has suffered multiple concussions, became woozy and collapsed, hitting his head hard on the corner of the coffee table as he went down.

When he finally came to and tried to leave, he fell again and bloodied his head on the front stoop. This, of course, is where Steffy found him unconscious, just in the nick of time.

Liam was rushed to the hospital, where it was touch and go due to a brain bleed, however things seemed to be looking up when he was able to rip out his IV and make it all the way over the the cliff house under his own steam.

He was too late for the all-important daddy-daughter dance we’d heard so much about, but danced it out with Kelly in the living room.

As these magical memories were being made, Steffy got the text that would change everything. Liam had an inoperable brain tumor.

As Grace and Bridget agonized back at the hospital, Finn made the trip home to confirm the horrible details to Steffy, who decided she ought to be the one to break the devastating news to her ex.

Although he was woozy and suffering from some blurred vision, Liam was left reeling when Steffy informed him that he was dying.

With every doctor we have at our disposal on Bold & Beautiful declaring the mass inoperable, Liam’s time is rapidly running out. What could possibly save him? A massive plot twist, of course.

Bill has been behaving erratically (who lets a double-murderer loose?!), with numerous family members stopping by over the last few months to tell him he hasn’t been acting like himself.

He’d been avoiding his beloved Spencer Publications office (you know, the one with the secret room with a bed), and we’d even witnessed him crying.

Bold & Beautiful fans were asking, “What’s happened to Dollar Bill?” and wanted the old version of him back.

After giving Luna the boot, the crustier version of himself seemed to be restored, as evidenced by his argument with Liam.

But the way he treated his son was over-the-top and harsh, even for Bill. Something just wasn’t right. But it was what happened next that made our soapy senses sit up and take notice.

While Liam was laid up in the ER begging Steffy not to tell anyone that he was indisposed, Finn saw Bill in the hospital, walking past his office door.

Bill explained he was there to visit a former business associate, which may be the most out of character thing we’d seen yet.

Bill’s notoriously self-involved unless it involves his current love interest or family, and is hardly the type to pop in with a bouquet of flowers for a colleague.

We suspect Bill was at the hospital for another reason entirely. Perhaps related to his erratic behavior of late. Maybe, just maybe, he was undergoing testing of some kind.

You know, like scans. If so, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that one Spencer’s scans got mixed up with the other Spencer’s scans.

It’s clear where we’re headed with this: We believe it may be Bill who has the inoperable brain tumor.
