Here’s What Happens Next On General Hospital
It’s going to be an emotional start of the week for Port Charles when GH celebrates its 62nd anniversary on Tuesday, April 1.
The special episode is set to honor the late Leslie Charleson (ex-Monica) as the hospital opens the Dr. Monica Quartermaine Cardiac Care Center. For 47 of the 62 years, Charleson played Monica, GH’s former Chief of Cardiology.
Before the big celebration, Monday will see the aftermath of Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) revenge plot against Ava (Maura West).
Now that Ric (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) became victims of a car crash, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) will receive devastating news about her father.
Jason (Steve Burton) will have a big week ahead, starting with his and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) plans going awry. They just got Siliski right where they want him, but they may reach a dead end in finding who planted the bomb.
Later in the week, Jason will share a sweet moment with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), presumably about the baby, then on Friday, he’ll finally make up with Carly (Laura Wright) after their argument over Brennan (Charles Mesure).
Odds and Ends
Aside from the shocking car crash, Siliski situation, and the Quartermaine crypt protest, Port Charles will see other notable moments, like Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) conducting a mysterious job interview and Natalia (Eva LaRue) entering into another argument with her ex-husband, Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Speaking of leverage, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) recently mentioned the idea of using Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) secret fling with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) against her when the time is right.
How soon will Tracy move forward with that scheme? Tracy doesn’t seem like she’s in any hurry to blackmail Nina just yet, but it’s a good reminder that she’s indeed got some power over Nina and could strike whenever she wants.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) shares this leverage with Tracy, so it’ll be interesting to see when they decide is the right moment to strike.
Meanwhile, Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner) will carry out an extreme plan and could land in a jam as a result.
Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) could get dragged into the drama, but it should give him a chance to grow closer to Emma in the process.
It’s clear that Emma and Gio are being set up as a new couple, so it’s just a matter of how long it’ll take for them to share their first kiss!
On another note, viewers will eventually see that Marco (Adrian Achondo) is keeping some secrets about his connections in Port Charles.
It looks like Marco is Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) son with Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), so things should start to unravel once this handsome new lawyer pays a visit to Wyndemere.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) may ultimately make some hopeful predictions about his future with Marco, but Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) may struggle with some trust issues when it comes to the new guy in Lucas’ life.
