The Young and the Restless Tuesday, February 25 Recap | Y&R Recap 2/25/2025
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, February 25, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will realize they’re in an old psychiatric clinic and that they must play a game to stay alive.
Once Sharon awakens to the sound of an alarm blaring over a loudspeaker, she’ll see that she’s trapped in a room and freak out.
Sharon will briefly wonder if she’s hallucinating again, but then she’ll see that Phyllis is stuck in the same boat.
After Sharon wakes Phyllis up and helps her off the floor, Phyllis will assume Sharon did something to her.
Sharon will deny it, but Phyllis will remain paranoid and suspect this could be phase two of Sharon targeting her family.
Sharon will reiterate that she’s not behind this and get Phyllis to confirm she isn’t either, so they’ll mull over who went after them.
Phyllis will wonder if the point is to watch them kill each other since they’re obviously not friends.
Although Sharon will feel confident that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) are deceased, she’ll consider the possibility that they could have some crazy followers acting on their behalf.
Phyllis will try to unlock the door with a paperclip, but she’ll fail when it gets jammed.
Meanwhile, Sharon will look through some nearby books for clues and see that all of them are the property of Havenhurst Psychiatric Clinic.
Sharon will assume that’s where they are, but the place will seem rundown like it’s been closed for a while.
There’ll also be a bag of canned food and a can opener, so that’ll leave Phyllis and Sharon worried about how long their captor plans to keep them locked up.
After Sharon and Phyllis compare notes from before they were kidnapped, they’ll realize their wild dreams may have been due to getting drugged.
Phyllis and Sharon will also determine that their kids will hopefully be looking for them by now.
Despite that moment of peace, Phyllis will get riled up again and lash out over Sharon’s role in all the Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) drama.
Sharon will remain apologetic over what happened, but Phyllis will snap that she can choke on her regrets.
Sharon will eventually fume as well and argue that she had to have poison in her blood for her own resentment to come out.
As for Phyllis, she IS the poison – at least that’s how Sharon will feel about it!
However, Sharon will push Phyllis to do something useful and team up with her. The goal will be to get out of there so they can never see each other again.
The alarm will blare multiple times throughout all this – and a bluesy song will eventually play that gets Phyllis especially agitated.
Sharon will suspect that it might be familiar to Phyllis and push her to remember in case it’s a message.
Phyllis will be more concerned with getting out of there and will threaten the captor as she bangs on the door.
Once the music stops, Sharon will tell the captor that they’re listening and ask the rules of this game.
The captor will speak over the loudspeaker with a disguised voice and will refuse to reveal their name.
After confirming that Phyllis and Sharon have to work as a team, the captor will admit the prize is staying alive.
A camera monitor will also be on Sharon and Phyllis to indicate that someone’s watching them.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Sharon will get updates on some shocking news along the way, so stick with us for more predictions on all the twists and turns.
