Kelly Monaco & Evan Hofer sign 3-Year deals with Y&R, Dex & Sam recast General Hospital Spoilers

If you’re a fan of General Hospital as well, you know that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) recently faced a fatal exit.

That means Hofer is off GH – and based on a recent interview with Soaps.com, he’s open to doing another soap.

Hofer confirmed that if he’s interested in the story and the character, he’s “pretty happy with whatever medium.”

Since Hofer had a glowing review of his time on soaps, it sounds like he’d be down to join Y&R if the right opportunity came along.

How would you feel about Hofer playing Summer’s next boyfriend?

It seems like Evan Hofer and Allison Lanier would have great on-screen chemistry if you ask us!

Maybe Hofer could play a new bad boy who comes along and catches Summer’s eye.

Summer’s last love interest was by-the-book Detective Chance, so perhaps her next one could be a bit wilder and less inclined to keep the law.

We could even buy Evan Hofer as a Theo Vanderway (last played by Tyler Johnson) recast if the show decided to bring back that character in a new form.

Since Summer and Theo used to be romantically involved, his return could set the stage for a reunion.

Whatever the case, there’s room for another key player in that age range, so maybe Y&R should snatch Hofer up.

Our predictions point to Summer pursuing Kyle in the meantime, but we can hold out hope for some romantic updates down the road!

A user on the social media platform X, Sharon Champagne, recently shared a video of the Y&R’s Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Fisher), and Hayley Erin (Claire Newman) dancing down the halls at CBS’s studios to the song, “What Is This Feeling?” from the movie Wicked.

Another X user, Pam, reposted the video stating, “I would love to see Kelly dancing and having fun with these women.”

She goes on to say, “Kelly would bring her talent, loyalty, dedication and all her fans with her! She’d bring so much excitement, too. Young & Restless would be lucky to have her.”

In response to this, another X user, kellystrong, commented on Pam’s repost, stating, “Make my wish come true, Santa! Please!”

Of course, much to the shock and delight of kellystrong, Monaco tweeted her back with a heart emoji.

Who knows what the next chapter in Kelly Monaco’s career will be; however, if she landed on the Y&R, she’d likely feel right at home.

After all, she’s already worked with so many of the actors/actresses currently on the soap, including past GH onscreen love interest, Jason Thompson (Y&R’s Billy Abbott, GH’s ex-Patrick Drake), as well as Michelle Stafford (Y&R’s Phyllis Newman and the OG Nina Reeves), Hendrickson (GH’s ex-Margaux Dawson), and Erin (GH’s ex-Kiki Jerome).
