The Young and the Restless

Y&R Spoilers December 16: The Truth Comes Out – Sharon Finally Strikes Back

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, December 16, center on Sharon, who is done meekly accepting her guilt and is ready to fight back and prove her innocence. Who will get caught in the crossfire?

Clear the Decks

Sharon (Sharon Case) still thinks she killed Heather (Vail Bloom), even if Nick (Joshua Morrow), Mariah (Camryn Grimes), and Faith (Reylynn Caster) have convinced her she may have been drugged into doing it.

Still, she’s pretty certain now that she didn’t run Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) off the road. She is equally convinced that Phyllis knows it too — no matter what she’s saying in public.

Sharon is not about to let Phyllis railroad her for a crime she didn’t commit. If Phyllis thought she could trap Sharon into confessing to Heather’s murder.

Sharon has an equally good reason to think she can trap Phyllis into admitting she’s lying. Like in Thunderdome, “Two (wo)men enter, one wo(man) leaves.” Who will it be?

Hit Me, Baby, One More Time

Billy (Jason Thompson) also knows how crazy Phyllis can get. But, to be honest, he kind of gets off on it, especially when Phyllis does nutty things for him. In fact, he kind of eggs her on.

Phyllis has another crazy idea. Billy tells her to go for it. If she succeeds, he’ll be able to remind her that he was in her corner every step of the way; now, how will she thank him?

And if she fails, well, Billy will be there to wag his finger at her; now, how will she thank him? This guy he thinks he can’t lose. Even though he keeps losing.

Did I Ever Tell You?

Jordan (Colleen Zenk) teamed up with Ian (Ray Wise) because she thought they wanted the same things for the same reasons. She didn’t do her research, though, because Ian has a surprise for Jordan that could change everything.

Sharon knows that it’s a long shot that something will come to mind that exonerates her. But even a slim chance is better than none.

And, as it turns out, the session does yield results — one big one, in fact. “There is a key thing that comes out,” portrayer Sharon Case tells Soap Opera Digest.

“She recalls some new information about what happened in Daniel’s apartment the night that Heather died.”

While the info isn’t likely to be enough to get Sharon off the hook, it is enough to restore her motivation. The discovery “gives her a lot more… drive to keep pushing forward to solve this whole mystery,” Case says.

After all, if she could’ve blocked out this morsel of intel, who knows what else has slipped her mind, especially while she was on her tampered-with meds!
