“Everything Changes: The Explosive Finale of ‘Yellowstone’ Revealed”
Yellowstone is roaring to an end. The final part of Season 6 opened with a bang when Kevin Coster’s John Dutton was murdered. It wasn’t long before another murder rocked the cast of characters, and only a few episodes remain.
Here is a look at what you can expect from the series finale and when you can see how it all ends.
When Is The Yellowstone Series Finale
When Yellowstone Season 6, part 2 began, many questions remained. The biggest was what would happen to Kevin Costner’s John Dutton, the show’s main star.
The answer was given in the first episode when John’s body was found dead. While it looked like death by suicide, he was murdered, and it is the catalyst for the final episodes.
However, John’s death wasn’t the only shocker. While out in public, someone shot and killed Sarah Atwood, and fans were shocked when she was gunned down in her car.
Since Sarah was a villain in the series, her murder remains shocking, and it seems that no one is safe as the final episode closes in.
The episode also showed that the medical examiner changed the ruling on John’s death, and that means that Jamie and Sarah were in the clear.
That made Sarah’s death even more shocking since she was a loose end for Grant. Jamie has almost no allies now as he battles his sister, Beth, as John’s death has torn the family apart.
Yellowstone, Season 5 Part 2, finishes its run on the Paramount Network on Sunday, December 15, at 8/7c.
Could Yellowstone Get A Surprise Season 6?
While this is Yellowstone’s end, fans still hold out hope that the show could return anyway. Paramount Network canceled the series, and this is the final season.
However, there have been rumors that a surprise Season 6 renewal could come if these final episodes bring in massive viewership numbers.
With that said, the murder of John Dutton and now Sarah Atwood makes it look like Taylor Sheridan is sending things off with an explosion.
Even if there were a sixth season, it wouldn’t look anything like what came before,e with the death and destruction left in its wake.
With that said, the remaining actors signed “pay-or-play” contracts after Kevin Costner quit. This means they have deals to return if there is a surprise sixth season.
Not only that, but this also means they will be paid even if there isn’t a sixth season. This means the network might want to get something in return for that money.
